Cable car & plateau
The Golte Landscape Park is accessible by the longest cable car in Slovenia. In eight minutes you’ll be 1,000 metres above sea level, and you’ll get off just a few steps from the slopes, at the reception of the Montis hotel.
Exploring the surroundings
The Savinja Valley impresses with its friendly people, unspoilt nature, and many opportunities for an active vacation. Go cross-country skiing in the Logar Valley, have a laugh at the Beer Fountain in Žalec, or enjoy a coffee in Mozirje’s Old Town.
How to reach us
From Ljubljana or Jože Pučnik Airport, it will take you approximately 1 hour to reach the ski resort, and from Maribor, just 15 minutes more. This way, you’ll be on the skis faster than you could prepare lunch.

Our Story
Forests, plateaus, hills and peaks have always attracted Slovenians, and we from Savinja Valley are no different. We have always admired the power of nature and devoted all our free time to it. Mountaineers and skiers have made today’s Golte Landscape Park their home and have ploughed the ground by creating summer and winter trails.
Even though the seasons change, our location remains the same.
